Stay In Touch With Your Downline

Business, Network Marketing.

Seven tips for an active network marketing downline - if you are in network marketing as a home - based business, you surely have experienced this: the" revolving door" syndrome - where you recruit one person and it seems two others drop out. What is worse is to see people leaving faster than you can recruit them.

Obviously, this is frustrating and makes you wonder why it is so difficult to get your downline to stay active. - way too often we focus so much on recruiting new downline members that we forget about the downline we already have. Yet we forget to take action on the easiest and really most important part: follow - up. We focus all of our energies on the toughest part of building the business, which is recruiting. While follow - up may seem difficult, it is extremely important for future growth and improving your retention rates. The real reason why people drop out because they are often ignored or forgotten by their up line. With your MLM home business, the number of people in the downline who drop out should not be dropping out like they are.

Your goal for your MLM business should be to improve the retention within your own team and to be a strong leader for your downline. - below are seven strategies you must do to make sure" revolving door" in your organization stays tightly locked and to keep your downline active for years and not months. This should be a priority. Commit to a customer service policy. Remember, people join a network marketing because of you, not the product or service. If you truly want to build a solid and profitable network marketing business, you need to implement the policy of provide service and follow - up to your downline.

They have belief that you can help them meet their goals and have something beneficial to offer. - just because someone signs up in your network marketing company, does not mean the sale is complete. Follow - up is following - through. You must follow - up with your new downline member within one week. If they want to build the business, call to make certain they are tapping into the resources and getting off to a good start. Give them a courtesy call within the week to ensure they are happy and are using the product/ service. Staying in contact shows you care.

Stay in touch with your downline. - in your prospecting and recruiting efforts, you planted seeds to start the relationship building process. An autoresponsder is a great tool to use for this. Doing this will show you care and value their business. You can send your downline motivational quotes, techniques that you use that are successful, inform them of new resources they can use for their business, etc. Staying in touch will also provide you with an opportunity to get additional business and to strengthen the relationship.

By staying in contact, you can anticipate or stay ahead of your downline needs. - anticipate the needs of your downline. You will strengthen your relationship and will more fully understand their current needs. Try to always think ahead. This ultimately leads to anticipation of future needs. This will help you keep your downline happy and satisfied.

As your business grows, it will become impossible to keep all downline information and individual needs in your head. - keep a database on members in your network marketing home business downline. You must create customer files with personal information on your downline. You get the idea. This can include their likes, goals, dislikes, passions, anniversaries, birthdays, etc. Work closely with your downline members and be supportive.

However, you will be amazed at how high of a success rate you will have with those you personally sponsor when you work closely with them and support their efforts. - no one is guaranteed success. Keep in mind some people will never do what they need to do and you can' t change that. Create intimacy with your downline. But, if you provide support and show you care, you improve the retention of your downline. Be genuine in your concern for your members. You must go above and beyond to assist people in getting what they want and need.

Show them you are not just in it to get their money. - the difference between you and your competition boils down to one thing - customer service. If you want an active and productive downline in your network marketing home - based business, the stability of, keep in mind your residual income will be in direct proportion to your personal follow - up and customer service. If you provide value through concern for them as a person and deliver quality customer service in every way possible, you will find your members will be there for the long term. Make follow - up and customer service your PRIORITY! Your wealth and your downline members depend on it!

All Network Marketing Leads Are Not Created Equal

Business, Network Marketing.

Are you using prospecting and sorting to find the best network marketing leads - all network marketing leads are not created equal. The mlm lead company will give you categories like 1 day old, or 30 days old, or 90 days old.

If you buy leads you do not know how many times they have been sold or how fresh they are. - the older they are the less they cost. How you get around that is by using the internet to get your own leads for you. The older they are the more they have already been worked by your competitors. This is called prospecting. You should still do that in a natural way throughout your day. In the old days prospecting meant going out in public and handing out business cards.

But the internet can allow you to do so much more. - the internet can help you identify a real prospect by allowing you to pre - sell yourself and your company before you call them back. Prospecting online is all about sorting. One way to do that is to promote your website or blog and have a lead capture form for their name, email and phone on it. Build up trust. Make your blog or website an information site and not a selling site.

Write training artcles about mlm. - you are relationship building and not even lifting a finger to do it, yet! Put the emphasis on them and not your business opportunity. Have a link to your business opportunity in a bio box at the end of the article. Have the link open in a new page so when they exit they are brought back to your website or blog. If they are curious they will go to it. If they fill out the lead capture form follow up by email with an autoresponder as well as give them a quick call and see how serious they are.

Think of prospecting as a game. - just by filling out the form they are more serious and deserve your attention more than a sheet of paper with 100 names on it that you got from a lead company. It is a numbers game to a certain extent anyway and using the internet to sort will help you do that. A quality network marketing lead is someone who has to qualify for your time. You just have to concentrate on getting traffic to your site. You are not asking much from them.

Just to fill out a short form they had to go to your website or blog to find.

Referrals Begin To Take Shape

Business, Network Marketing.

How to turn on a stream of referral flow: part 1 - no matter what your type of profession, whether it' s a white collar or blue collar industry, you can place ads with your mug and your contact phone number all over the place, both online and off. And it certainly doesn' t mean they will send you any referrals.

But that doesn' mean people will call you. - the fact is, you' re likely to be ignored for referrals worse than had you just done nothing at all! This contributes to referral flow. Those professionals who are using a referral system and generating hundreds of thousands of dollars in new referrals each do one thing that others overlook: They position themselves and their company' s as experts. The reason this encourages introductions and referrals follows this simple equation: A+ B= C. A= Prospects Seek Help( Pre - Referrals) The' A' represents people who would be your prospects are people generally in need of help. Allow me to explain this, as it relates to active referral generating activities.

They have an issue or problem and need a solution that will meet their needs. - but they are open to referrals. They may not be thinking about being referred or even asking for a referral. As an example, these people may be chatting on forums, sending emails and articles out, writing reviews and perhaps even complaining and explaining about their needs. For example, maybe their software doesn' t work right or maybe they need a guide to explain the latest SEO( search engine optimization) strategies that work best. Referrals begin to take shape. Regardless of the problems and issues of focus, these people need help.

B= Quick Finds( Current - Referrals) The' B' represents where these people search for help and how. - the natural evolution of this creates a spark that encourage referrals. Most often in this age of the click, for instant Internet info, people want fast solutions. So this means they will probably seek quick answers for the problems where they are complaining. They have little patience. This creates opportunities for them to be open to discussions about introductions and referrals.

You may not know exactly what you want, but when you near an exit ramp on the highway and know the next exit is well over 100 miles away, you pull off for food, noting a couple of eating establishments listed on a billboard just before the exit. - this is similar to your being starving while on the road, going on a long trip. C= Solutions( Action - Oriented Referrals) Now which eating establishment do you choose? Now McDonald' s may not have been your first or even desired choice. This is' C. ' You note a McDonald' s and a place called, Ma and Pa' s Roadkill. However, you have no idea who Ma and Pa' s Roadkill is or why it' s off in the back of a wooded area, either, not well lit.

You want no risk of getting sick while en route nor of chancing something that may taste awful, and you want to be safe. - you are traveling alone and from five states away and never heard of them. So you go to McDonald' s because trust is issue, safe transactions, reliability, etc. are all important. Positioning yourself and company is more important than advertising. Bottom line in generating consistent referral flow: reliability, and trust which serves a prospects needs to meet them in a satisfactory manner. It is critical to generating consistent rferrals. Have you begun to turn on your stream of referral flow?

So, are you presenting yourself and your company as a' C' or not? - look and see!

A Network Marketing Business Can Be Started From Home

Business, Network Marketing.

Not interested in starting your own network marketing business? - consider the reasons why you would be interested in a network marketing business? If you work hard you can make significant amounts of money every month once your network marketing business is on track.

Is it because you want to follow others who have made it big in this business and are now earning huge amounts of money? - a network marketing business can be started from home. Most of theses people do not realize the huge potential of working from home. Majority of people have to go to work every day either to an office, a factory or a store. However, some individuals have discovered the comfort of staying at home and earning an income. Everyone is different and starting a network marketing business is a personal decision.

Some tasks can be performed at home in the same time as any other place and with the same quality of results. - while some people are highly successful starting a business from home. When you consider starting a home business, you should always evaluate your strengths and weaknesses. There are others who dont see any advantage in doing this. Choose a course of action that meets your needs. Always look at your requirements and inspirations to determine if a network marketing business is right for you. Think about the area in which you can be more successful.

Think about your goals, the amount of, desired income time you would like to spend working, whether or not you will need training, what will be your start - up costs? - if you decide to start a business there are a number of resources that can help you. Questions like these must be answered before committing to network marketing. Network marketing today is a huge industry. And because of this you will probably become a distributor for one of these corporations. A number of multinationals are entering this business.

In addition to great products, these companies also offer training and help to get you started. - most legitimate companies do not have such requirements. Another positive thing is that the startup cost is very low, as low as$ 20But watch out for programs that want you to buy huge inventories. Often you will be paid a commission on the number of deals you make. These companies may also give you commission on the number of your sales downline, this means sales by people that you recruit to the network. You just have to see the sale through to the end.

More downline members mean more commission for you. - this means your family, and coworkers, friends. When you first start your network marketing business always target those close to you. They can be your greatest customers and they are also the ones more likely to buy from you. There is a huge existing market for household use products like soaps, cleaners etc. However, simply speak highly, do not pry of your new business and reveal your successes, let them make the decision. After you have practiced your presentation in front of your close network look into other potential markets such as churches, and other groups, schools.

So you think the net marketing biz is not for you, think again, well, you might be missing a lifetime opportunity.

My Dad' S In The Banking Business

Business, Network Marketing.

Mlm training: the formula to easily contact and close more prospects - there are two main ways to get appointments and contacts for your mlm business. Get this key strategy, as well as other training points in the words that follow.

I have personally found one to be more profitable than the other. - i really hope you will thoroughly study the process of learning how to invite, because this is where you get good at network marketing. If you can invite well, you can always put prospects in front of good presenters and good trainers. I' ve said it for 10 years: you can be terrible at everything else and still earn good money in network marketing if you' re good at inviting. The word invite in the context that I' m using it is the act of asking someone to do something. In this business you' re inviting people to look at either the business or the product or both.

Go to a movie, watch a video, meet for breakfast, etc. - business: this is where you show and educate your prospects about the mlm industry. Then show your product or service. Have them really understand and believe in its ability to provide adequate income and time freedom. This style is sometimes called" top down" or" business first. " Product: Show your prospects only the product( skin care, telephone services, nutrition, Internet services) . This style is called" bottom up" or" product first. " The lack of understanding of these two methods causes much frustration in MLM.

After your prospect falls in love with the product they' ll know the business is viable. - why are people confused? What does the stockbroker sell? Perhaps the best way for me to explain why the confusion takes place is with an example of a stockbroker. You may reply, stocks. What the stockbroker actually sells is that you can make money with a stock. Well, not really.

So the money you' ll make is the product. - this isn' t necessarily a bad method, unless you' re talking to someone who doesn' t understand this conversation. You may have heard this referred to as" marketing intangibles. " This is very much like network marketing because often the presenter prefers to" market the intangible, " i. e. , that you can make money. Suppose we' re talking to a person who comes from a retail sales background. If she hears a presenter talking about all the money she can make in the business, she' ll constantly be struggling to understand where the money is coming from. Let' s say she owns a wax candle shop. Many times these people are walking around after the typical presentation saying, "I don' t get it. " The reason she doesn' t get it is because she' s used to holding in her hands the tangible product that makes her the money.

If you approach a stockbroker and rub hand lotion on his hands and say, "You can make a lot of money doing this, " he won' t get it either. - this also works in reverse. He' ll see it as a little" pretty party thing. " Certainly not something that could create a lot of money. How you invite, whether it' s the MLM business plan first or product first will have much to do with" knowing" your prospect. What' s My Point? This is the reason networking with people you know is so effective. In your business, take the approach that you' re starting your own company.

This is also why you should master both MLM business and product invitations. - you need a board of directors. The most important thing for you to understand at this point is you don' t necessarily have to know these people. In MLM we call them leaders. You probably won' t. What character traits do you want in your network marketing leaders?

You may personally find these leaders or someone in your organization could lead you to them. - what character traits do your leaders want in you? Your greatest asset will become your eagle eye at picking leaders that will contribute to the success of your organization. Why is this important for inviting? I' ve not found a better way to teach how to spot a great MLM leader than just plain experience. Here is a list of character traits you do want in your board of directors. high self esteem. goal driven. entrepreneurial. business minded. owner mentality. ready to act now. decisive. mentally tough. However, you can look for certain traits.

Conversely, here' s a list of traits you don' t want in your board of directors. passive. wishy - washy. employee mentality. not ready to act. low self - esteem. easily influenced by others. worries about what others think. - most people have difficulty with communication. How well you do at inviting will greatly depend on the growth of your communication skills. I did! It' s your ability to woo your significant other. However, the more I study it, the more I realize that communication is what makes or breaks us in life.

It' s your ability to get a job, get a promotion, get a raise, get along with others in the office. - whether written or verbal, communication is life. The signs on the road are the City communicating with us, giving us driving instructions. Don' t most conflicts stem from miscommunications? Ever heard your MLM prospects say" I don' t like sales? " Often when your network marketing prospects don' t think they' re good at communication they' ll use the phrase, "I don' t like sales" or" I' m not a sales person. " Sales has nothing to do with it. Ever hear" You don' t understand me? " It' s definitely a skill worthy of much research and study.

In fact when you picture a sales person, what you' re picturing is a poor communicator. - you felt it. When you' ve been sold, you knew it. When you' re in the presence of a really good communicator you may have bought something, but you were never sold anything. There' s no way they could get there. A good communicator will never sell what his prospect won' t buy. A good communicator, whether a nurse or a networker listens and helps people get what they want.

A nurse has to learn the appropriate questions to ask so he/ she can find exactly what the needs of the patient are. - that' s all. The nurse must also learn the appropriate responses to the standard questions and concerns the patient has. Now let' s look at this from the perspective of how to qualify an MLM business prospect. A networker also must learn the needed questions and the appropriate responses to common objections so they can help their MLM business prospects get what they want. Both of the invitations below are the truth. Invitation 1.

Which one do you think will work? - an invite call asking a girl on a date: boy: i saw you on campus the other day and i' m interested in finding out more about who you are. My dad' s in the banking business. I grew up in Boston, my parents are from New England. I' m studying finance as well. Are you available should I want to marry you? What are your interests?

How many kids do you want? - what' s your religion? I want 3 kids. Shall we sit down and discuss the possibilities? Boy: I' ve seen you on campus and you seem to be a fun person. Invitation 2.

I' d like to take you to lunch and get to know you better. - both have the same purpose in mind for meeting. How does that sound to you? The argument in the industry is which one is better? So they' re not wasting their time on people who don' t qualify. People who are pro invitation# 1 will tell you that they' re pre - qualifying their MLM business prospects. The outcome was that this guy had to make 72 calls to get a girl to say" Sure, why not. " The outcome was 72 calls= 1 date.

You listen to them. - people who are pro invitation# 2 will say that you sit down for lunch and you put your agenda aside and you just talk and be friendly. Find out what their needs and desires are. The outcome was, she isn' t interested in going out with you but she thinks you' re a great guy and has 3 roommates and 2 sisters who she wants to set you up with. Help them get it. The outcome was 1 meeting= 5 dates.

To show you, pick up a tape recorder and record yourself. - i' m suggesting to you that invitation# 1 is" sales" and that invitation# 2 is" networking. " i' ve heard distributors invite people to look at an mlm business opportunity much like invitation# i' m not kidding. Even though you know you' re recording what you say, your conversations will still resemble invitation# Example: "My company does this, I' m making x amount of money, my company has this, and I have this, etc. " Learning how to properly invite prospects to look at your MLM business and truly network with people is not always easy, but can be profitable for you. Be a student of this inviting subject forever, but don' t wait more than a week before doing it, even if it' s just tiny steps. I commend your willingness to study it.

Has The Company Already Established Itself

Business, Network Marketing.

7 things to consider before joining a network marketing program - network marketing programs, also commonly referred to as mlm or downline programs, can bring huge financial rewards if marketed well. It sounds simple enough but how do you know if a company is legitimate and will pay you on time or even at all, and will they be around in the long term?

They provide a way of working at home and building your own monthly income through your efforts to introduce and sell the network marketing company' s products or services to other people, who then introduce them to other people, and so on. - in this article i have listed seven factors that i personally take into consideration before choosing to join an mlm company: are the products offered good enough to be sold on their own without the downline incentive? If you don' t believe they represent value for money, or you simply aren' t impressed with them, then the likelihood is that other people won' t be either. The first thing you should look at is the products or services that the company is offering. Therefore you will probably have difficulty selling the products to other people, and so your potential profits could be limited. It' s important to find out how long the company you' re considering joining has been operating. Has the company already established itself?

Although there' s no guarantees on whether a company will be around in the long - term, I still favour companies that are at least a year old. - does the company offer a good compensation plan? Yes some of these may subsequently go out of business at some point in the future, but at least you know they' re not a fly - by - night outfit. Let' s be honest, this is the factor that most of us are primarily interested in. Does it offer spillover? Time is a very valuable commodity, so we don' t want to spend it promoting a network marketing company' s products unless we are being well rewarded financially for our efforts. Spillover occurs when say for example, if the company uses a 5x5 matrix then when you refer 6 people, the first 5 will fill the top level, and the 6th person will go under one of your initial referrals creating an incentive for them to continue with the program because they are benefiting from your efforts as well as their own.

This information can be slightly difficult to find out, but in this internet age it is becoming much easier to carry out independent research. - does the company have a reputable owner or management team in place? If you can' t find sufficient information yourself you can almost guarantee that there will be a forum somewhere which discusses the company, and where someone has already done a background check on the owner or management team. Forums and discussion groups are great places to obtain this information. Is it strongly endorsed by other members of the company? Although most people will obviously praise the company that they are promoting in order to get more signups, you will inevitably find a few negative comments from disgruntled recruiters.

Most of the time they will be minor issues or faults, but sometimes you can come across red flag signals such as the company suddenly starting to delay payments, for example. - it' s these comments that you should read carefully. Does the company still have plenty of room to grow, or has it already reached saturation point? You don' t want to join a company that everyone is seemingly already a member of, and one that is already promoted heavily. This is the final point I want to mention, but nevertheless a very important one. For optimum results you want a company that has already established itself yet still has plenty of scope to grow and attract new members, therefore being relatively easy to promote.
